Who is Shawill Cosmetics?
Shawill is a local beauty brand which offers a variety of products including face makeup, eye makeup, lip products, and makeup tools. The company takes prides on their "affordable yet high quality products that fit every Filipina." I must say though, their products are made in China so you should probably think twice if you have a problem with that.
About Shawill Eyebrow & Eyeliner Gel
This multipurpose eye product comes in a compact size pot container with a small mirror for touch-ups. It comes with a teeny brush that you can use for brows. It is available in two shades. It claims to be waterproof and last up to 24 hours. It has a shelf life of five years (that's impressively long!)
Review of Shawill Eyebrow & Eyeliner Gel
The eyebrow powder's texture is velvety. If you're going for the full, natural brow look, this is perfect for you. The eyeliner gel is comparable to LA Girl's Gel Liner which I personally love. It glides well so it is easy to apply. But what I like better about Shawill is that it doesn't dry out as much as LA Girl does. With this, I never had to apply oil just to get the product from the pot.
I personally just use the eyeliner gel for my brows because I prefer that Insta-famous on-fleek eyebrow look. The pigmentation of the gel gives me just that. But you can also apply it lightly so it will look more natural. I actually use it everyday for work and never had a problem with it. Of course, I've tried this also as an eyeliner, though I very rarely wear eyeliner. It glides well too and you can easily control how you apply the product so I think it is great for beginners!
Does it live up to its claims?
- Waterproof - yes!
- Lasts up to 24 hours - not really, but it does stay for long hours (roughly 8-10 hours) and I rarely have to do touch-ups
How much is it and where can I purchase?
I think I got this for around P200 (USD 4$). That's really cheap, right?! I got this from Watson's but I believe it's also available on some online shops such as BeautyMNL.
Would I repurchase?
Sure! This is indeed a bang for the buck. I personally love it and don't mind having this around in my makeup stash.
This is how the Shawill eyeliner gel in shade #2 looks like on my brows. I was going for the more natural office look here. Not bad, huh?
